Brand & Business Strategy.

Two services. One celebration. From sunrise to last dance.

The Opportunity

A wide-open lane in the
Yakima Valley.

Brewtiful Bliss occupies affordable luxury — more elevated than DIY or urn coffee, more accessible than a big-city specialty roaster. That lane is largely unclaimed locally, and almost no competitor serves it bilingually.

$700–$1,500+

Per-event range for regional mobile coffee catering.

~50%

Hispanic Yakima Valley — a real bilingual moat, on day one.

Year-round

Wedding season plus corporate & community demand smooths the calendar.

Customer Tiers

Three customers, three tiers.

[PHOTO: bride & bridesmaids at a small backyard ceremony]

Tier 1 · The Photo Buy

The Budget-Conscious Bride

60–90 guests · value-driven

Books on the photos. Wants the look and the warmth at a price that protects the rest of the wedding budget.

[PHOTO: large corporate-style event, two baristas, branded cups]

Tier 3 · Peace of Mind

The Statement Host

150–300+ guests · premium & corporate

Buys reassurance and white-glove. Custom menus, premium staffing, no questions on the day-of.

Secondary year-round corporate & community revenue smooths the off-season.

The Dual-Arm Model

Coffee now. Bar later. Same brand.

[PHOTO: espresso bar with barista pulling shot, branded backdrop]

Coffee

Live now

Espresso service, signature drinks, trained baristas, full on-site setup. The brand the customer meets first.

Bilingual ordering, photo-driven booking funnel, three packaged tiers.

The earning arm.
[PHOTO: mood image — mobile bar styling reference for 2027]

Bar

Planned

Bartending labor + bar setup + service. Never alcohol. Host holds the permit and supplies the bottles.

Same aesthetic, same staff training language, same booking flow.

The expansion arm.
Architectural rule

The booking platform supports serviceType = coffee | bar | both from day one, even while only coffee is exposed. Cheap now, brutal to retrofit.

Coffee Pricing Architecture

Three tiers, engineered to upsell.

Tier Price Hours Drinks Staff Best for
The Sip Entry · small & intimate $675 2 hr 60 1 ~75 guests · classic espresso menu
The Bliss Experience Premium · full custom $1,950 4 hr 200 2 ~250 guests · custom menu & styling

Tier 2 is the volume target — price, packaging, and the website optimize for it.

À-la-carte · The Margin Layer

Make it yours.

Hazlo a tu manera.

Coffee add-ons are live and curated by intent — not a price list. Each tier slide leads with the 2–3 most relevant. Bar add-ons follow the same shape, held until launch.

The Margin Model

Where the money actually is.

  • ~60–70% of guests order a drink over the window — the basis for honest upsell math.
  • The real margin lives in à-la-carte add-ons, not the base packages.
  • Staffing is sized so no line exceeds ~10 minutes. Long lines kill a referral-driven business.
  • Re-validate the whole model after the first 5 real events.

Internal Guardrails

The Future Bar Arm · Legal Reality

Why the bar arm sells labor,
never alcohol.

This is the only clean model for a startup operator in WA. Non-negotiable.

Bar Packages · Planning Placeholders

The bar arm — drafted, not launched.

The Strategic Payoff

From sunrise to last dance.

De la mañana al último baile.

Coffee cart for the morning. Bar for the reception. One vendor, one aesthetic, bilingual — bundled at a modest combined discount.

Every decision we make today protects the ability to sell this offering.

Client Agreement · Coffee Service

Every booking is contracted.

A written service agreement protects the business on payment, cancellation, liability, weather, and equipment — with bar service only attached as a separate signed addendum.

35% deposit

Non-refundable, due at booking.

Balance −14 days

Full balance 14 days prior to event.

Tiered cancellation

90+ days: deposit only. 30–89: 50%. <30: 100%.

One reschedule

If requested 90+ days out, deposit transfers once.

Limitation of liability

Capped at fees actually paid.

Client indemnification

Host indemnifies on venue & guest acts.

Force majeure

Good-faith reschedule on uncontrollable events.

COI on request

Certificate of insurance for venues.

Substitutions

Equipment / staff swaps of equal quality permitted.

Photo & marketing

Portfolio use, with a client opt-out line.

Governing law

Washington · venue in Yakima County.

Bilingual

ES courtesy translation; EN controls.

Caption

The contract is the cheapest insurance the business will buy. Attorney-reviewed before first signed use.

Addendum A · Bar Service

A separate addendum, only when the legal checklist clears.

The bar arm is never sold inside the base agreement. Addendum A attaches only when MAST, liquor liability, banquet-permit verification, and attorney review are all in place — and it controls in any conflict.

Host responsibilities

  • Obtains & displays the WSLCB Banquet Permit in their own name.
  • Purchases & supplies all alcohol — our shopping list is non-binding guidance.
  • Provides ice, mixers, supplies not in the booked package.
  • Confirms the venue permits alcohol service.

Brewtiful Bliss scope

  • MAST Class 12–certified bartending staff.
  • Bar tools, agreed setup & styling.
  • Non-alcoholic components per the booked package.
  • Never sells, sources, transports for resale, or charges for alcohol.

Compliance & risk

  • Staff may refuse service to intoxicated, underage, or unverified guests.
  • Client cannot direct staff to violate WA alcohol law.
  • Host bears alcohol-provision & consumption risk by indemnity.
  • Liquor liability endorsement carried on every bar event.

Bright Minds is not a law firm. WA attorney review is the gate, not a formality.

Rollout Plan

Three phases.

01

Coffee, live.

Phase one

  • Brand system applied across booking, signage, social.
  • Bilingual site & booking platform — serviceType built in, bar hidden.
  • Optimize for Tier 2 — The Celebration.
  • Market corporate & community to smooth the off-season.

02

Bar, behind a flag.

Phase two

  • Bar packages drafted & validated.
  • Booking UI feature-flagged off.
  • Launch gated on the legal checklist — a legal gate, not a code gate.

03

The bundle.

Phase three

  • Enable serviceType = both.
  • Lead the marketing with the all-day package.
  • Position as the only bilingual, single-vendor sunrise-to-dance offering.

Risks & What to Verify

Before we rely on any of this.

  • Confirm WSLCB requirements directly.
    MAST permit + banquet-permit fee + liquor liability obligations. lcb.wa.gov · 360-664-1600
  • Attorney review of the service agreement.
Especially the liability, indemnification, and alcohol clauses.
  • Re-validate coffee tier prices.
After 5 real events — check against the consumables and labor guardrails.
  • Scan 3–4 Central WA competitors.
Pull their actual public pricing before we publish ours.

All bar and liquor figures in this deck are unverified placeholders.

Recommendation & Next Steps

What we do next.

  • Lock the brand system — ship the bilingual coffee site & booking platform with the dual-arm data model from day one.
  • Launch coffee — optimize for Tier 2, build the off-season corporate pipeline.
  • Work the bar legal checklist in parallel — Phase 2 becomes a switch-flip.
  • Target the all-day bundle — the flagship offering once the bar arm is cleared to launch.

Handcrafted moments, beautifully served.
